2. New membership filed - Timothy Knight, Matthew Avitabile, Michael Avitabile and Elijah Casabonne.
3. Treasurers report, no committee updates, SCYR's endorse Women GOP's efforts to raise money for County GOP via Sweetheart's dance on Feb. 11th at Parrot House and Elijah Casabonne files for Chief Recruiter.
4. Michael Avitabile named election teller 3-0 and election rules agreed on 4-0.
5. Timothy Knight elected Chairman, 3-0-1.
6. Matthew Avitabile elected Vice-Chairman 4-0-0.
7. Michael Avitabile elected Treasurer 3-0-1.
8. Elijah Casabonne elected Chief Recruitet 3-0-1.
9. Bob Mann Jr. appointed Secretary 4-0-0.
10. SCGOP 2012 Poll: Romney 2, Gingrich 1, Santorum 1.
11. Resolution: We the Schoharie County Young Republican's, resolve to thank our veterans for past, present and future service. Passed 4-0.

December SCYR Meeting

The Schoharie Co. Young Republicans will be meeting on Friday, December 9th, 6PM at the Middleburgh Town Hall for our last regular meeting on 2011. Those interested in seeking YR office must be in attendance.

Former Middleburgh Mayor Charles Slater will be our guest speaker.

Jaycox Wins!

Current County Clerk Indy Jaycox won a convincing contest against challenger Gary Hayes. The totals were 64%-36%

Congratulations to the Clerk for her win. The YRs were with you all the way.

Vote Jaycox Today

The Schoharie County Young Republicans would look to remind everyone to head to the polls today and vote Indy Jaycox for Schoharie County Clerk! She has done an excellent job these past 5 years, and the last thing we need right now, with our county struggling to regain revenue, is someone who places politics over statesmenship, and that someone isn't Mrs. Jaycox. 

Polls are open until 9:00 p.m. tonight in all 16 Townships of Schoharie County, so please take a few minutes out of your day and vote Jaycox (and Republican in all other races)!!!

Signwave Successful

The Schoharie County Young Republican Club held a successful signwave for County Clerk Indy Jaycox. The event took place over an hour near Wilson Travel. After the signwave, hundreds of palmcards were distributed in Cobleskill.

The Club held a meeting afterward and discussed its future. It is likely going to hold another event for the County Clerk before the November 8th election.

Indy Jaycox Sing Wave

The Schoharie County Young Republicans will be holding a sign wave supporting Indy Jaycox this Saturday, 12:00-1:30 p.m., at Wilson Travel Agency in Cobleskill, New York. Everyone is invited to participate in the event and our brief meeting afterwards between 1:30-2:00 p.m.

Emergency SCYR Meeting this Saturday

By order of Chairman Knight, and Vice-Chairman Avitabile, the Schoharie County Young Republicans will be holding an emergency meeting this Saturday, 1PM at Chairman Lewis Wilson's office in the Village of Cobleskill. It concerns the 2011 County Clerk election.

 

If you know anyone who might be interested in helping out, please invite them or bring them along. We need all the help we can get.
