Happy Veterans Day & Young Republicans update.

Dear Young Republicans,
I would on behalf of the Young Republicans, like to wish all members, and those who receive this email...a Happy Veterans day. With one member of the Young Republicans training in Texas (Fort Sam Houston) this touches homebase for us.
God Bless America and God Bless our Veterans.
Young Republicans update
The Schoharie County Young Republicans are just as nervous as the rest of the County in regards to local elections that are too close to call. The Young Republicans will have full results at our next meeting, so we can discuss the elections of last week, and how we can use these elections to help us in future elections.
The Schoharie County Young Republicans are planning our mailer, though we hope to have the voting rolls in time for our December meeting. We are also planning to write Chairman Lewis Wilson a letter, in regards to finally attaining authorization for the Young Republicans club.
We have much to discuss at our next meeting, business is full for the meeting, we do not have a guest speaker as of now, which might be a good thing in regards to the agenda I have put together. The meeting is on November 20th, next Friday, 6PM at the Middleburgh Town Hall.
- Tim Knight, Chairman of the Schoharie County Young Republicans.

Election day ends on November 17th.

My fellow Republicans,

On November 17th, absentee ballots from across Schoharie County will be counted, and numerous elections will be settled once and for all. Those races include Supervisor elections in Richmondville & Cobleskill, along with the Sheriff's election. The Richmondville election is too close to call, as the Democrat candidate has a 2 vote lead over Supervisor John Barlow, and the Republican trails in Cobleskill by 9 votes.

While we have maintained control of the Schoharie County Board of Supervisors, especially with a fantastic pickup in the Town of Wright, I would like to see Republicans in control of 12 seats come January. Then in two years, when every Supervisor seat is up for election, we need to have a Republican candidate in all 16 towns.

We are the party of Schoharie County, it is about time we are acting like it.

Just two more days!

My fellow Republicans, there are just two more days to the major 2009 elections in Schoharie County. As we must get out the vote for our local candidates in big Supervisor races across the County, and we must focus on the Sheriff's election. These past few weeks have been full of hard work, not it is time to put that work into votes. The greatest work one can do, is to vote GOP on Tuesday!

Schoharie County Young Republicans endorse Jill Dunn.

Press release - October 29th, 2009.

The Schoharie County Young Republicans would like to announce our endorsement of the Republican candidate for the New York Supreme Court, Jill Dunn, who is seeking election to represent the 3rd Judicial district in the highest court of the state.

Jill Dunn is a "straight talking" candidate who has years of experience, does not have the baggage of her Democrat opponent, and is the best candidate for the job. The Schoharie County Young Republicans reached the endorsement without opposition.

Chairman Tim Knight is pleased with the endorsement, saying "Jill Dunn is who we need on the New York Supreme Court, as her experience as an attorney, teacher, and involvement in the regional Women's Bar Association, demonstrates the experience we need in a Justice".

Please visit www.jilldunnforsupremecourt.com for more information on her campaign.
